A QUOTE I READ THAT I JUST HAD TO SHARE…
I have these moments when I feel like reading and usually it has to be something to inspire me out of all the chaos and mess I have to embrace everyday. Basically, it’s like eating McDonalds everyday, at some point in that day, you have to eat a real meal otherwise you feel like crap. Same thing applies to taking the time to read something to fill your mind and spirit with to encourage you throughout the craziness that is going on in the world outside of us. So here’s the quote:
"Obstacles are those frightening things you see when you take your eyes off your goal."
~ Henry Ford, American Automobile Manufacturer
Here’s to keeping your eyes on the true prize even when the way seems uncertain and cloudy. Hope this inspires whom ever that reads this to stay focused and don’t loose sight of what matters to you. Fear is just F-false E-evidence A-appearing R-real…
REPRESENTING THE AFRICAN & GERMAN SIDE OF ME
So since I’m biracial, it’s never been an issue for me which side to pick, at least not in my family. One side was never more stressed then the other, to be black or white, nor was it brought to my attention that I was lighter until I came to America. But I do know I consider myself African, to be more specific, Liberian only because of where I am from. It’s all that I’ve known. So in my clothing line I express that through some of my designs. I’m glad my parents or family never really made it a big deal that we were different regardless of the world pointing it out. Well, check out the pics and let me know what you think!

My earliest memory is going to a horse stable with my dad and sitting on top of white horse…that day we brought home my 1st dog as well.

The purpose for designing "Adore Life" is to help people realize that life is about the choices we make and our attitude towards it. Regardless of the circumstances we're dealt, we still can make a change, become a source of light to inspire others around us to realize they can do the same. Our clothing line is for those people who have faced something so detrimental, whether cancer, death, failure, broken families, abuse or just something they never thought they would ever overcome, but they did.
